To ensure continuous improvement of the products we emphasise research and development. We aim to optimise existing articles and to find new products, processes and fields of application.

This includes in addition to theoretical studies, such as literature and internet research, also practical tests on our test stations and field tests of new developments with selected clients and contractors.

The analysis of the results is carried out in our modern materials science laboratory.

In recent years, there has been a dramatic increase in the amount of land used for biomass cultivation in order to generate renewable energy. In order to meet growing demand and to allow for cost-efficient cultivation of alternative resources, harvesting processes must be optimised.  As a result, together with the Institute for Agricultural Machinery and Renewable Energy (LTRE) at the University of Applied Sciences in Cologne, we are developing novel cutting processes and blade systems for harvesting renewable raw materials. The goal is to reduce machinery costs and to boost the efficiency of the biomass production process chain significantly.
